Digital Product Owner of Conversational Platform Integration (AI) – Senior Specialist

Your Opportunity Charles Schwab's Web (Schwab.com) Platform team is responsible for defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of our platforms and services which enable digital interactions with clients at scale. Our team is revolutionizing how we have conversations and interactions with clients via our web and mobile channels by using conversational AI with modern messaging and voice technologies. In this role, you will help own the migration of our enterprise chat platform and the expansion of capabilities into other Schwab lines of business. You will help build and manage a product roadmap and work with key partners to execute it brilliantly. The team is responsible for: Strategy - Envision the future and build the near-term roadmap for our Schwab.com conversational integration strategy Execution – Own and drive all aspects required to bring new digital capabilities to clients, including the definition, creation, development and implementation of the core conversational solutions on Schwab.com Client service – Serve clients with compelling experiences that improve client outcomes Partnership – Collaborate with technology, design, marketing and others in delivering value to our clients What you are good at Help lead the expansion and rollout of Schwab’s innovative AI digital assistant (conversational platform using artificial intelligence) into Schwab.com to drive better client outcomes Partner with the digital assistant platform team to formulate and evolve the conversational experience strategy and roadmap for Schwab.com Execute brilliantly in a fast paced environment Build strong partnerships with key team members and third-parties You will be the specialist on features and capabilities enabled through the conversational platforms Champion Agile methodologies, playing the product owner role in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, backlog prioritization, user story preparation and demos Work cross-functionally with technical, design, business, and compliance counterparts to define product release requirements and investigate production issues as they arise. Work to create the awareness and engagement plan for your experiences and provide relevant and concise updates to management teams Serve as a subject matter specialist and evangelist to partners What you have Passion for emerging technologies and curiosity of how their implementation can truly improve outcomes for our clients’ and the our firm Can-do demeanor and the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a complex, dynamic environment Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills and ability to track multiple project results with minimal direction Strong knowledge base and experience developing or managing digital experiences, coupled with knowledge of the underlying technology, both current and emerging Ability to influence and build positive relationships across multiple levels of the organization Highly developed communication and presentations skills with an outstanding ability to effectively communicate and present complex concepts and issues to leadership teams Skilled at working cross-functionally with technology, service, marketing and product teams to manage the entire lifecycle of a digital platform Prior experience as an Agile Product Owner or leading scrum teams is preferred, with a deep understanding of agile Confidence presenting and tailoring messaging to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership Good understanding and/or experience with financial services regulations is a plus Experience with NLP, conversational AI or chat solutions is a plus Bachelor’s degree required (MBA a plus) 3+ years digital product owner experience Apply for this job Refer a friend Share on your newsfeed Why work for us?
